Elementary & Secondary Girls

My name is Michelle, and I am a mother of four - 2 boys and 2 girls. We have been a consistent homeschooling family for the past 10+ years. Though I carry a background in Nursing and have also worked in the Islamic schooling system, I have always aligned with homeschooling for my family.

Both my husband and I, set specific parameters for raising our family, which centers around Islam - Quran and Sunnah, and this includes how we want to school our children, while on a timeline that models that criteria. Additionally, homeschooling has opened up so many avenues for my children to find what they are most passionate about, including focus on their specific interests and talents. Adventures, memorable experiences, life-lessons, and nurturing connections are just a few notable benefits to our homeschooling journey.

I’ve had many roles with Muslim Homeschoolers co-op throughout the years; a PlaySchool to Secondary Lead, to a Lunch lady! Regardless of what role I may take, one thing always rings true - this is our community, our family and home we want to keep coming back to, inshaAllah.
